Temitope Fawehinmi has her roots from a family with reputable national pedigree and is a dual citizen of Nigeria (parentage) and USA. She graduated with honours from Strayer University, Takoma park, Maryland, USA, with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administration (2004). Also, she is an alumnus of Methodist Grammar School, Bodija, Ibadan (1994).
Based on her global career exposure, she brings to the organisation the benefits of her management experience and valuable networking skills, which is leveraged to position the company favourably. She was Vice President, New Business Development at the Trillion Group USA, a global development company with focused on promoting/facilitating economic development and poverty alleviation in the emerging markets. She was involved in assisting Governments, Community Leaders and the humanitarian relief world, by creating effective platforms for win-win outcomes. She is very passionate about poverty alleviation and economic development.
Her desire to make meaningful contributions advised her answering the Federal Government’s call to our experts in Diaspora to personally support Nigeria’s development goals with their skills. She has the firm belief that Small & Micro Businesses are the foundation of real sector growth and encourages their further growth to become national/global players. Her expertise spans the areas of investment promotion/global partnerships, industrial & raw material development, Small & Micro Business assistance/mentoring, affordable housing, agricultural empowerment Initiatives, medical relief/assistance and credit rating enhancement.
Also, she has vast experience in working with prime private investor groups such as the co-owner of a telecom company in the Caribbean Island of Guadalupe, to developed valuable alliances with different Investment Banks, private investor groups, manufactures, miners, oil and gas operators, ICT and technology companies, humanitarian relief groups, construction and engineering service companies. As the head of Trillion Properties, she played a key role in the acquisition of various companies, including NTC Telecom.
Her advocacy skills led to her meeting the likes of Congressman Serge Letchimy, the late Aime Cesaire, President Madras, Governors/Mayors in Martinique, St. Kitts, St. Lucia, Guadeloupe, Nigeria and Washington DC. She is truly a global citizen.
